Job Description

Speech Pathologist I, LCC Speech and Audiology - OTO (Onsite)
  • League City, Texas, United States

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in related field, Certification or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association, and Licensure or eligible for Speech Pathology License from the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
  • Job Summary:
  • To provide professional skills in the comprehensive evaluation of patients with speech and language impairments, and to provide habilitative and rehabilitative treatment services.
  • Job Duties:
  • + Administers and interprets routine and complex tests on adults with speech and language and cognitively impaired patients + Plans, conducts, and directs rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communication, voice, cognition and swallowing disorders + Documents findings, rehabilitative techniques, plan of care and patient progress in electronic medical record + Instructs and demonstrates testing procedures and treatments to medical students and residents + Senior level staff may also supervises clinical work of support personnel, graduate students and clinical fellows •
Preferred Qualifications:
  • + Texas Speech Pathology License, Certificate of Clinical Competence + English - bilingual Spanish is helpful, but not required + Prior experience in adult outpatient care and medically related clinic. + Experience with adult neurogenic population and swallowing disorders

  • Commensurate with experience.
