Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role for the 2026-2027 academic year, serving as an itinerant Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students across multiple private and home school settings. This full-time opportunity (40 hours per week) allows you to travel between campuses and provide speech-language therapy, evaluations, and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals, making a difference for diverse student populations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting speech and language assessments, documenting and interpreting results. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on students' needs. Delivering both direct intervention and consultative services in accordance with IEP objectives. Collaborating with educators, administrators, families, and special education teams to maximize student progress. Providing clear documentation and thorough reports, maintaining compliance and high professional standards. Traveling to assigned private or home school sites throughout the week.
Preferred experience and requirements:
Active Texas SLP License is required. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is highly preferred. Prior experience in a school-based setting is desirable. Strong organizational and communication skills, with an aptitude for meticulous documentation. Ability to manage an itinerant schedule and maintain reliable transportation.
