Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Seeking a motivated Speech Language Pathologist to make a difference in K-8th grade students' communication skills. This contract position offers the chance to provide essential direct and indirect therapy services during the 2026-2027 academic year, from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027. You'll enjoy a structured workday with guaranteed hours and no extra school duties beyond your contracted schedule—no bus duty, no parent pickup, just focused time with your students.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active SLP license in Texas before school year start date CCC-SLP or those completing their CFY are encouraged to apply Experience or clinical training in a school-based setting with K-8th grade preferred Strong ability to collaborate with educators and families Solid communication, organization, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver therapy to students in need across elementary and middle grades Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as needed Offer both direct and indirect services according to IEP requirements Collaborate with teachers, instructional staff, and parents to maximize student growth Maintain clear, compliant records in accordance with school or district protocols What's In It For You?
