This position is focused on working within school settings, offering support to a diverse range of learners. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required. Prior experience in school-based settings highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to design and implement individualized intervention plans. Detail-oriented approach and commitment to exceptional documentation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students. Preparing and maintaining records, progress reports, and assessments for each student. Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to build effective support plans. Providing both individual and group therapy sessions that target student-specific needs. Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to the creation of education plans. Offering guidance to educators and families on strategies for generalizing communication skills in the classroom and at home. Utilizing evidence-based practices and the latest resources to ensure optimal outcomes.
