Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the vibrant Humble, TX area. This onsite role allows you to make a meaningful difference in young learners' lives while collaborating with a supportive educational team throughout the school year. With a consistent 40-hour schedule, you'll enjoy stability and professional growth as you help students reach their communication goals.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Texas SLP license (CCC-SLP strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows considered) Previous experience in a school-based setting Willingness to supervise Clinical Fellows if you hold your CCCs Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills Dedication to culturally responsive and student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students in alignment with IEPs Maintain a manageable caseload of approximately 60 students Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress Consult and collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student success May occasionally split time between two nearby schools, providing adaptable and flexible support Supervise and mentor Clinical Fellows (if eligible) Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards of school-based therapy practice Enjoy a dynamic setting where your impact as an SLP is visible every day.
