Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference supporting students' communication and academic success in a dynamic school-based setting near Hurst, TX. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives working with children and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP license in Texas and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in a K-12 school environment Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to build rapport with diverse student populations, staff, and parents
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students for speech-language, communication, and social-pragmatic needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in groups Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with state and district policies Participate in IEP meetings, consultations, and training as needed Stay updated on best practices and compliance standards in school-based speech services This contract offers the opportunity to work with a supportive community and make a lasting impact on students' lives.
