Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) to a dynamic educational environment where you'll make a daily impact on students' communication development. This contract opportunity positions you as a valued member of a collaborative team supporting students in reaching their speech and language goals. You'll encounter a variety of cases, work alongside experienced professionals, and contribute to positive school outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in educational settings Previous experience in school-based settings preferred, though strong clinical experience will be considered Proficiency with assessment tools, IEP development, and progress monitoring Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and staff
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students of varying ages and abilities Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with district and state guidelines Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other service providers to support student programming Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and student progress Attend meetings with parents and multidisciplinary teams to review student needs and set appropriate goals Utilize a range of intervention strategies and resources tailored to each student's needs As a valued professional in this contract role, you'll engage with a supportive team and gain exposure to a range of student cases.
