Job Description

Job Overview New Horizons Speech & Language Therapy, LLC is a small therapist owned company. We are seeking to hire dedicated Speech Language Pathologists to fill full-time and part-time positions in Katy, TX on site for the 2025/2026 school year. This is a 1099 contract position. The ideal candidate will have experience working in school settings; however, school experience is not mandatory. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals' lives. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and treating students with IEPs for speech and language services. Responsibilities Conduct formal and informal evaluations and re-evaluations as well as all other professional activities consistent with timelines and requirements of the law, rules and regulations, and local district policies and procedures. Compile formal and informal information from a variety of sources into a written report to assist in the determination of eligibility, educational need and identification of programming needs utilizing the district's template. Coordinate and/or participate as a member of the ARD committee. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech therapy services. Provide direct therapy services to students to improve communication skills, articulation, language, fluency, and voice abilities. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support students' academic and social success. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student data/progress. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and record-keeping.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a school setting is preferred Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas. Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred (CF candidates welcome) SLP Assistants with public school experience will also be considered Experience working with school-aged children, especially in educational settings. Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and treatment methodologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and school personnel

This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
Position Details:
Full-time on-site for the 2025-2026 school year Up to 37.5 hours per week / M-F Part-time positions may be available if preferred Maternity leave coverage positions may be available if preferred Elementary-High school age caseload options based on preference
