Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication and learning as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting near Keller, TX. In this role, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students thrive academically and socially through improved speech and language skills. Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:
Valid state licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Previous experience working in school settings strongly preferred Working knowledge of IEP development and progress reporting Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to evidence-based practices and cultural competence Ability to provide therapy, screenings, and assessments to a diverse student population
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy for students with a range of needs Conduct comprehensive evaluations and participate in eligibility determinations Develop, implement, and update individualized education programs (IEPs) Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student success Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress notes as required Participate in district and campus-based meetings, professional development, and collaboration initiatives Communicate student progress and strategies to caregivers and team members This contract position offers the chance to make a real difference alongside dedicated professionals and support staff in an engaging educational environment.
