Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' communication and language development in an engaging educational setting. A contract, in-person opportunity is open for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist ready to provide exceptional service in a full-time role near Troy, TX. Bring your expertise to a collaborative environment, working closely with educators and families to address a diverse range of speech and language needs for students in a school-based setting.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Current Speech-Language Pathology license in Texas and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Experience working in pediatric, school, or healthcare environments as an SLP Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Passion for fostering student growth in language, speech, and social communication
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments for students with speech and language concerns Collaborate with teachers and school personnel to develop targeted therapy goals Deliver individualized and group therapy for students, adapting approaches as needed Complete required documentation, reports, and progress notes in a timely manner Communicate regularly with families, sharing strategies and progress updates Participate in staff meetings and interdisciplinary team processes
