Very busy outpatient clinic is seeking to add a Speech Language Pathologist to our team of clinicians servicing children in Killeen, TX. We are looking for a long term commitment, as we will be investing heavily in your success here. We provide Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy to children up to about 21 years of age in a large facility, 23,800 sq feet. (an acre indoors) and 4 acres total outdoors, including pool and playground. Ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can provide stellar treatment sessions for a wide range of patient diagnoses, manage time well, and complete quality documentation promptly. Dysphagia care is valued but not required. If you are interested, this training is available onsite.Your responsibilities:
Evaluation, treatment planning, including setup and cleanup, actual treatments, and documentation. Authorization paperwork is managed by our office staff and tracked in a robust software system. Meetings are monthly or less and last 1 hour. Training for CPR and CPI (crisis prevention) is included in the required time annually, totaling about 6-8 hours. Why you should come work for us: This is a large clinic with many providers, each with a variety of high-level skills, acquired through treating a wide range of diagnoses in our clinic. This clinic offers an unmatched experience for developing clinical skills through immersion within a large staff and a wide variety of client diagnoses, as well as on-site clinical education. Many therapists have been employed for more than 5, 10, or even 15 years. We have a strong culture of growth, team support, high-quality care, and, last but definitely not least, autonomy through flexible scheduling and independent decision-making. There is always a waiting list, so plenty of work for anyone who wants more time in one place, but you completely control how much you take on.
