37 weeks A school district in Killeen, TX is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for in-person, school-based positions for the 2026-2027 school year . These roles primarily support elementary school campuses and offer the flexibility of one virtual workday per week . Multiple openings are available.

LaserFiche Responsibilities Assessment & Eligibility Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations Prepare Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs) in compliance with state, federal, and district guidelines Interpret assessment data for families and school staff IEP Development & Service Delivery Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals related to speech and language needs Provide individual and small-group therapy aligned with student goals Use evidence-based instructional practices to support academic and social success Monitor student progress and determine readiness for dismissal from services Collaboration & Communication Participate in ARD meetings to support placement and goal-setting decisions Collaborate with classroom teachers to embed communication strategies into daily instruction Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, administrators, and students regarding progress Program Compliance & Documentation Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including therapy notes, progress reports, and evaluation data Ensure compliance with
IDEA, TEA
regulations, district procedures, and ethical standards Supervision & Support Supervise and provide guidance to SLPAs, graduate students, or interns as applicable Maintain a safe, organized, and developmentally appropriate therapy environment Requirements Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of practice CCC-SLP preferred (may be required by contract) Minimum of one year of SLP experience preferred Bilingual candidates welcome to apply Ability to meet all federal, state, and local requirements Orientation & Logistics Contractors will report to the district service center for onboarding once fully cleared Dress code: Business casual Timekeeping system: LaserFiche Compensation $55 per hour (local) $62 per hour for bilingual SLPs W-2 employment through Amergis For more information or to apply, please contact:
