Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students in a vibrant school setting near Manor, TX. This full-time position is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about making a positive impact on young learners. The calendar runs from August 2026 to May 2027, with a steady schedule of 37.5 hours across five days weekly—all aligned to the academic year. You'll work as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team, delivering essential speech and language services to children with diverse communication needs.
Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Texas Experience in pediatric or school-based SLP environments preferred Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and school documentation requirements Effective communication and collaboration skills Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students grades K-12 Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Participate in IEP meetings, providing data-driven input and recommendations Accurately document all sessions, maintaining compliance with district and state policies Offer consultative support to classroom teachers to address speech/language needs within the curriculum
