Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and/or feeding evaluations to assess each client's functional and rehabilitative needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving communication, feeding, and daily living skills. Regularly re-evaluate client progress and revise plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Monitor client responses during therapy and adjust interventions as needed; communicate changes with caregivers and relevant team members. Provide caregiver and family education to support carryover and continuity of care. Document evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress summaries, and discharge reports in a timely and accurate manner. Participate in interdisciplinary care planning, including team case reviews, school consultations, and discharge planning. Attend staff meetings, in-service training, and maintain professional clinical competency by attending certified CEUs in the areas of pediatrics and speech therapy. Participate in strategic planning, department growth initiatives, and case conferences as needed. Assist in developing and leading in-service training programs and contribute to a culture of continuous learning. Remain current on best practices, research, and innovations in pediatric speech-language pathology and feeding therapy. Qualification and Skill Requirements Master's Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Current licensure by the State of Texas or eligibility for licensure. Strong oral and written communication skills. Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively. Feeding therapy experience is a plus but not required. Commitment to high ethical standards and a client-centered approach. Physical Requirements Duties require extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Requires lifting, positioning, and/or transferring clients, including the ability to participate in physical and play-based therapies. May be required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
