Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist - K-12 Schools | 2026-2027 School Year We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year in a K-12 school district near Houston, Texas. This is a full-time opportunity for an SLP who is committed to helping students develop the communication skills needed for academic and social success.

Public School District Responsibilities:
  • Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for K-12 students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding student communication needs.
  • Support students with a variety of speech and language disorders.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • School-based experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
