We're seeking a dedicated SLP who thrives in educational environments and takes pride in helping students achieve their communication goals. You'll work alongside teachers and families to deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services throughout the school year, building strong connections and making a difference every day.
Key Qualifications:
Hold a current SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) School-based experience or strong interest in working in a K-12 setting Expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders Ability to create individualized therapy plans based on student needs Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities Include:
Evaluate and diagnose students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders Develop and implement therapy plans that support each student's IEP goals Document and track student progress, making recommendations for continued growth Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families for a holistic approach Conduct group and individual therapy sessions within the school environment Attend meetings and share insights on student progress and best practices You'll enjoy working in a supportive community that values your expertise, with a manageable caseload and the opportunity for extensions such as the SLP Extension with Sara Corning.
