Speech Language Pathologist in Plano, TX BlazerJobs - 3.4 Plano, TX Job Details Full-time 9 hours ago Qualifications Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic role supporting high school students in their educational journey as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity offers the chance to work closely with senior high schoolers (11th and 12th grades), empowering students to reach their communication and academic goals within a vibrant school community. Bring your expertise to a full-time, onsite position where your skills will truly make an impact.
What You'll Bring:
Current, active Texas SLP license
Preferred:
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in a school-based environment and working with high school-aged students Strong background conducting speech and language evaluations, developing individualized IEP goals, and delivering direct and indirect services Excellent skills in communication, organization, and documentation
Your Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students, providing comprehensive speech and language services Conduct thorough evaluations, create and revise IEP goals, and deliver engaging therapy sessions Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, administrators, and families to foster student success Maintain complete and timely documentation in accordance with district standards Engage in meetings and provide direct input to support broader educational objectives
