Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Elevate your Speech-Language Pathology career by making a difference in a vibrant educational environment. This contract opportunity begins in August 2026 and extends through late May 2027, offering a rewarding, full-time position serving students in a supportive school setting. Your expertise as a licensed SLP will guide students at the middle school level, helping to improve their communication and language skills. While bilingual abilities are highly valued, they are not mandatory for this role. Here, you'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals in a dynamic district, ensuring students reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications and Experience:
Hold an active SLP license (CCC required) Previous experience within school-based settings highly desirable Familiarity with diverse caseloads; middle school experience is a plus Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred, but not required Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive assessment and therapy services to students on a full-time caseload Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Monitor and document student progress, maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student outcomes Attend meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning community
