In this role, you will provide vital speech therapy services to pediatric patients, focusing on early intervention and developmental needs. Your expertise will help children improve their communication skills, enhance their quality of life, and reach their full potential. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young patients and their families. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, and communication challenges in pediatric populations. Develop personalized therapy plans tailored to each child's unique needs, incorporating evidence-based techniques. Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions that promote progress in areas such as articulation, language development, voice, and fluency. Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure consistent support across environments. Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and outcomes. Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices, physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and medical terminology relevant to pediatrics. Assist in early intervention programs by identifying developmental delays and implementing appropriate therapeutic strategies. Qualifications Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or equivalent credential. Prior school experience working with children in educational or clinical settings preferred. Strong knowledge of pediatric physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to speech and swallowing disorders. Experience conducting patient assessments and developing targeted treatment plans for young children. Passion for working with pediatric populations and a commitment to patient care excellence. Familiarity with early intervention programs and techniques for supporting developmental milestones. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families.
