Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an exciting contract opportunity supporting K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment near Schertz, TX! This onsite position runs from August through June 2027, offering you the chance to make a genuine impact on students while furthering your own professional development. Both Speech Language Pathologists and Speech Language Pathologist Assistants are encouraged to apply and bring their passion, expertise, and commitment to student success.
Qualifications:
Valid Texas SLP or SLPA license required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLP applicants Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly valued Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy services to students across the K-12 caseload Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and monitor student progress Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student goals Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
