Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding short-term contract opportunity close to Schertz, TX, providing speech-language pathology services to K-12 students. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about making a difference in a school setting—whether you hold the CCC credential or are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). You'll enjoy a focused assignment supporting a school community during a short-term maternity leave, with a manageable caseload and clearly defined responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Current, active speech-language pathologist license in Texas required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility to work as a Clinical Fellow (CFY) Experience with pediatric populations in school settings is desirable Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to manage a caseload of K-12 students, adapting interventions to varied needs
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy and assessments in alignment with students' IEPs Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support student progress Maintain timely and accurate documentation Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions Support continuity of services during the assigned maternity leave period (start: 8/13/2026, end: 9/11/2026) Work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 37.5 hours per week This role offers the advantage of weekly pay at a competitive rate of $50 per hour.
