Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 2026-2027 school year at a facility located in Schertz, TX. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, providing an excellent opportunity for both newly certified CFY candidates and experienced CCC-certified SLPs to support student communication development in an educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) required. Open to candidates currently in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Experience or interest in school-based speech therapy preferred. Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans for students. Strong communication skills and collaboration with educators and families.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs. Develop and implement therapeutic interventions aligned with educational goals. Monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and guidelines.
