Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP credentials is needed for a contract position in the school setting located in Sugar Land, Texas. This role offers the opportunity for both full-time and part-time engagements, with an on-site presence preferred. Caseload details will be discussed during the interview process.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience in school settings is advantageous Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices Strong knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Collaborate effectively with caregivers, families, and interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapists (PTs), Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), and Occupational Therapists (OTs) Monitor, document, and report progress regularly to ensure treatment efficacy Maintain accurate and compliant patient records and documentation Benefits of working in this role include engaging in a dynamic school environment that supports professional growth and interdisciplinary collaboration.
