Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a real impact in student lives by providing essential speech and language services in a supportive school environment. A full-time, in-person contract opportunity is available to partner with students, educators, and families, making meaningful progress toward communication goals. This role is based near Temple, TX, in the Troy area, and offers the chance to further your career while working with a diverse pediatric population.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric population strongly preferred Knowledge of IEP processes, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a K-12 population Superb communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in a school setting Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to promote student success Document student progress and provide regular updates for teams and families Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to support student needs This rewarding contract role lets you work as a vital member of a team dedicated to helping children reach their full potential.
