Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment, providing essential speech-language services to a diverse population of students. Utilize your expertise as an SLP—whether you hold your CCC or are in your CFY year—to foster communication development and help children reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Experience working with pediatric or school-based caseloads is highly valued Solid understanding of IEP process, assessment procedures, and therapy techniques for varied speech-language needs Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with educators, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each student's IEP goals Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed for optimal results Document sessions, maintain accurate clinical records, and contribute insights at IEP meetings Provide resources, education, and guidance to classroom teachers and families to support student success Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care and integrated educational support
