Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity supporting students' communication needs in a vibrant elementary school setting! This contract speech-language pathology position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners throughout the school year. You'll enjoy a varied and rewarding caseload, the camaraderie of a supportive team, and the satisfaction of watching children grow and thrive.
Key Qualifications:
Current SLP license valid in Texas SLP-CCC credentials preferred; however, Clinical Fellows (CFs) are also encouraged to apply Previous experience in a school setting or with elementary-age children is ideal Comfortable overseeing or supervising when qualified with CCCs Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy services onsite to a caseload of approximately 60 elementary students Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary staff to support student progress and facilitate successful communication outcomes Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor ongoing progress May occasionally split time between two campuses, depending on student needs Provide supervision to Clinical Fellows if holding CCC certification Maintain compliance with all state and district regulations related to school-based practice This is a full-time, onsite contract position, working 40 hours per week, covering the academic year from August to June. You'll play a vital role as part of the school's support team, helping children achieve academic and social success.
