Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a lasting impact by working with students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity enables you to provide crucial speech and language therapy services in a supportive learning environment near Tomball, TX. Your expertise will help children develop the communication skills they need to succeed academically and socially.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain) Prior experience working in a school setting is highly valued, but dedicated new graduates with CCCs are welcome Comprehensive understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and goal development Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students in need of speech-language services Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges Deliver therapy through both individual and small group sessions in accordance with IEP objectives Maintain thorough and accurate records of student progress and session activities Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate recommendations effectively within the classroom Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development Take pride in knowing your work nurtures growth and confidence in each student you serve.
