Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist in a vibrant school setting for the first nine-week term! This is an on-site, full-time contract role from August 17, 2026, to October 9, 2026, providing essential services during a maternity leave period. You'll work across two school campuses in the Universal City, TX area, collaborating with dedicated educational professionals and making a direct, positive impact on student progress. Your expertise as a bilingual SLP will be especially valued, as you will be supervising a bilingual SLPA while helping to meet the diverse needs of students. The district will begin candidate interviews on 4/27/26, so if you're passionate about making a difference, this is your chance to shine.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Professional licensure to practice as an SLP Bilingual proficiency required Previous school-based experience preferred Willingness to supervise a bilingual SLPA Ability to complete all required credentialing, including fingerprinting and background checks Enthusiastic and adaptable in a dynamic educational environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to students across two campuses Supervise and mentor a bilingual SLPA Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families for integrated student support Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and district guidelines
