Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants welcome Prior experience in school or pediatric settings preferred Familiarity with IEP process and school documentation Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, voice, and fluency among elementary and secondary students Develop and implement targeted therapy sessions based on individualized education plans (IEPs) Work in partnership with educators, families, and multidisciplinary specialists to support student progress Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and professional standards Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and modifications Offer guidance and education to staff and parents regarding communication strategies
