Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact by supporting students on their communication development journey in a dynamic school environment. Contribute your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) as part of an engaging, collaborative and student-focused team. This contract opportunity offers flexibility and the potential for both onsite and teletherapy services.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active state licensure as SLP (CCC or CFY accepted) or SLPA Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred Proficiency with therapy planning, IEP documentation, and progress monitoring Strong communication skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff and families Experience or openness to teletherapy platforms is a plus Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based speech-language assessments and intervention to diverse student caseloads Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to tailor support plans Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP requirements Maintain timely records, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings Provide support and mentorship for students in group or individual sessions Educate school staff and caregivers about effective communication strategies Participate in ongoing professional development As part of this contract position, you'll discover the satisfaction of helping students achieve their communication goals, while enjoying the flexibility that fits your lifestyle.
