Job Description

Job Overview This position is about 33-37 hours per week for an excellent, supportive school in Kaysville, UT. We need an on-site 1099 Speech Language Pathologist subcontractor. CFY supervision available. The caseload is about 45 students, currently. The SLP provides assessment, diagnosis, intervention, consultation services, and child find activities to students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders. The SLP collaborates with teachers, families, and our multi-disciplinary special education team to support students' communication skills and access to the educational curriculum while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local special education regulations. Ironwood Speech Pathology is a small provider-owned and run practice dedicated to providing high-quality speech and language services within school settings and private practice. Based in the Layton/Kaysville UT area, this mobile practice focuses on expertise in childhood speech and language development. Ironwood Speech Pathology values collaborative care, clear communication with educators and families and measurable progress toward functional goals. We prioritize professional growth, ethical practice, and freedom that allows you to love your work! Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current Utah State Board of Education license (or eligibility to apply) Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred or CFY status. Knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and IEP development. Experience assessing and treating Communication Disorders in the elementary setting is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and adapt. Strong interpersonal, documentation, and time-management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary environment.
Pay:
$45.00 - $58.00 per hour
