What You'll Do:
As a Speech Therapist with us, you'll be a vital part of our patients' journeys, helping them regain their voice and confidence. You'll work closely with our amazing clients, building bonds and bringing joy as you guide them through important life transitions. Responsibilities:
Where You'll Be:
Covering Salt Lake County.
Your Mission:
Provide stellar speech pathology services tailored to each patient's needs, working hand-in-hand with their physician's plan of care.
Team Player:
Collaborate with families and other health professionals, ensuring everyone is on the same page for the best patient care. Be the
Hero:
Assist with assessments, develop care plans, and revise them as needed, using your expertise in speech, hearing, and language disorders. Evaluate and regularly re-evaluate the speech pathology needs of the client; initiate, develop, implement, and make necessary revisions to the client's plan of care. Initiate diagnostic, preventive, and rehabilitative procedures as appropriate to the client's care and safety.
Qualifications:
A degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited program. CPR/BLS certification and a current Utah Speech Therapy license. At least 1 year of experience working as a licensed Speech Therapist. A valid Utah driver's license and automobile liability insurance. A love for teamwork, along with the ability to shine independently. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written. A commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality.
Bonus Points:
Experience with Homecare Homebase or other EMR systems (not required but a HUGE plus!).
