Join our dynamic team as a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, where you will play a vital role in improving communication skills and enhancing the quality of life for young children. This rewarding position involves providing specialized speech therapy services to pediatric patients, supporting early intervention efforts, and collaborating closely with families, educators, and medical professionals. Little Communicators is a growing pediatric therapy practice serving Ashburn and the greater Loudoun County area, with a newly opened office in Winchester. We provide speech and occupational therapy to children from preschool through high school in homes, schools, and office settings. We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our caring and collaborative pediatric therapy team. This position offers flexible scheduling and a steady flow of clients, with personalized matching to families in locations that align with your preferred service areas. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders in pediatric populations. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs, focusing on early intervention strategies. Deliver engaging and effective speech therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to improve communication skills. Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and healthcare providers to ensure cohesive support and consistent therapy approaches. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting therapy plans as needed to maximize outcomes. Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare standards. Educate families about speech development milestones and provide strategies for ongoing support at home. Skills Experience working with children in school or clinical settings, with a strong understanding of pediatrics preferred. Experience in speech therapy techniques tailored for early intervention and developmental delays preferred. Experience in speech production and swallowing functions preferred. Strong patient care skills combined with excellent communication abilities to engage children and families effectively. What We Offer Flexible part-time or full-time schedule $500 Signing Bonus!
