Job Description

Hybrid school‑based Speech Language Pathologist position located in Amherst, Virginia, offering up to $65 per hour. The role requires full‑time in‑person service with virtual reporting options and a caseload of 60‑65 students. Candidates will support elementary students across the region with a 36‑week engagement and competitive compensation and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans for students Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Ensure compliance with all licensing and school policies
Qualifications:
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent Valid license in Speech-Language Pathology Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, including proficiency with school settings and EMR systems Current resume and license, ability to work within a school environment Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills Ability to complete reports virtually
