Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Previous experience supporting students in an educational setting is highly valued Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for effective work with teachers, families, and other professionals Proficient in conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and delivering a wide range of speech and language interventions Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students in accordance with IEPs Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Develop and implement individualized or group therapy plans targeting communication, language, fluency, articulation, and social skills Track student progress, maintain clear records, and provide input for IEP meetings Collaborate with educators and families to promote generalization of skills within the classroom and community Stay current on best practices in school-based speech-language pathology As part of this contract role, you'll enjoy the flexibility that comes from working in schools, as well as the stability offered by possible contract renewals.
