School-Based SLP | Garrisonville, Virginia

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Garrisonville, VA. This contract position offers a part-time schedule of 10-15 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate ranging from $46 to $58. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through May 29, 2026.

Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in school-aged children. Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals and educational objectives. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and student progress. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and program planning.

Qualifications:

Valid SLP license or certification required. Experience working with pediatric populations in a school setting preferred. Strong knowledge of speech-language development and related disorders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively.
