Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support a school setting in Lexington, VA. This role involves providing speech therapy services to a diverse student population, both in-person and through teletherapy platforms. The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and have experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare and educational environments.
Key Qualifications:
Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) with relevant licensure Experience in school-based speech therapy, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) collaboration Background in pediatric speech therapy and healthcare settings Proficiency in teletherapy delivery methods and technology Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) recommended or completedResponsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans according to students' needs Deliver therapy sessions in person and via teletherapy as appropriate Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student communication goalsLocation:
