Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in school-based services for the 2026/2027 academic year. This part-time opening offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students while working collaboratively within a supportive environment. The position runs from August 17, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and involves providing both direct therapy and supervisory duties for an SLPA.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred Ability to effectively supervise and mentor an SLPA Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities & Duties:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs Supervise, mentor, and support an SLPA in daily activities and case management Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document student progress Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on speech and language goals Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
