Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication development in a contract-based school setting near Montross, VA. This opportunity is perfect for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eager to work with pediatric populations in a dynamic educational environment. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current VA SLP license (Certificate of Clinical Competence or Clinical Fellowship Year applicants welcome) Experience supporting children in schools or pediatric healthcare settings preferred Strong communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills Passion for advocating for students' educational and social needs
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique requirements Deliver evidence-based therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals Provide consultative support to staff and parents regarding communication strategies In addition to competitive hourly compensation ranging from $45 to $55 per hour (based on experience and education), you'll receive weekly pay, health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as 401k matching options to support your well-being and future.
