Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time, in-person opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary caseload during the 2026-2027 school year in Montross, VA. This role focuses on providing direct speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students, helping enhance their communication abilities and academic performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and support personnel Deliver direct therapy and provide classroom-based support tailored to student needs Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports adhering to state and federal guidelines Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferencesQualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Valid Virginia SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Prior experience working with elementary-aged populations is desirableLocation:
