Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Travel A full-time, in-person opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Montross, VA, serving an elementary caseload for the 2026-2027 school year. This travel role offers hands-on experience working directly with young learners to support their speech and language development.
Responsibilities include:
Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff Providing direct therapy and classroom-based support as needed Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports aligned with state and federal guidelines Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Virginia SLP license or eligibility to obtain one ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred Experience working with elementary-aged children is an advantage This position provides a manageable elementary-focused caseload within a supportive school environment, making a meaningful impact on student communication skills and academic success.
