Virtual SLP in VA VocoVision - 4.0 Richmond, VA Job Details Contract 1 day ago Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Working with individuals with speech impairments Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services within an educational setting in Richmond, VA. This role focuses on delivering remote speech therapy to students, supporting their communication and language development needs through virtual platforms.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting speech-language evaluations and assessments via telespeech technology Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to students' specific needs Collaborating with educators and families to support students' progress and adapt strategies accordingly Documenting therapy sessions, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports Utilizing telepractice tools effectively to engage students and monitor therapy outcomes Preferred qualifications and experience: Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience providing telespeech or telepractice therapy services in a school environment Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders affecting school-aged children Proficiency with telecommunication platforms for remote therapy delivery Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate students remotely This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a significant impact on student communication skills through innovative telespeech methods.
