Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist in Roanoke, VA, providing support to students in K-12, primarily within an elementary school setting. This contract position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week during the current and next school year (CSY and NSY).
Key Qualifications:
Valid Virginia Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Certification Experience working in school settings preferred Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in children Responsibilities include: Conducting speech and language evaluations and screenings for students Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports Participating in meetings and professional development as needed
