Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time opportunity is ideal for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA), or SLPs with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) seeking an on-site role in a school setting. Located in Smithfield, VA, this position offers a dynamic environment with a high caseload, providing a rewarding challenge for professionals passionate about delivering direct speech and language services to students.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid state licensure for SLP or SLPA required Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLP candidates Experience working within school-based settings Ability to manage a high number of caseloads effectively Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators and families

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals Provide direct therapy services to a diverse student population Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes following school guidelines
