Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Position Overview:
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to deliver high-quality services within diverse educational settings in the Northern Virginia area, approximately 45 minutes south of Washington, DC. This contract opportunity requires on-site presence and involves working with multiple students across three different locations, including public schools and a private day school.
Location:
Stafford, VA (Northern Virginia region)
Assignment Details:
Contract duration: ASAP start through May 29, 2026 Weekly hours: 10-15 hours, part-time Locations assigned: 3 educational sites Caseload includes a 4th grade student receiving services at home, a 2nd grade student at school, and up to two students at a private day school in
Manassas Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized speech-language therapy tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement effective treatment plans Document progress and maintain compliance with confidentiality and reporting standards Comply with all local and state requirements regarding school-based therapy
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Virginia SLP licensure is mandatory Experience working with school-age children, preferably within school-based settings Ability to complete required VA Department of Social Services background check and TB test immediately Candidates with 0+ years of experience considered, with pay rates commensurate with experience
