Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based role supporting students across K-12 as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and adolescents, working collaboratively with educators and families to foster growth and communication skills. With three positions available, there is ample opportunity to share expertise and passion for student success in a dynamic educational environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state SLP license or eligibility for licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply Prior experience in school settings is a plus Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse K-12 caseload; open to discussing preferred age groups or grade levels Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Collaborative mindset to work within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to students individually and in groups Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans based on student IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress and generalization of skills Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and student progress Participate actively in IEP meetings and share expert recommendations Adapt interventions to meet a wide range of communication needs across various age groups This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers you the chance to create meaningful change in students' lives while developing your own professional skills.
