Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, shaping confident communicators for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position, conveniently located near Troutville, VA, allows for either full-time or part-time hours—tailored to your work-life balance needs. You'll work onsite with students in PreK-12, supporting them as they develop essential speech and language skills vital to their classroom success. Ideal candidates exhibit compassion, professional curiosity, and a collaborative spirit. You'll join a supportive team, enjoying mentorship and connection with educators, administrators, and families across the district.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid or eligible Virginia SLP license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcomed Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
Major Responsibilities:
