Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 26/27 school year in Virginia Beach, VA. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services within a school setting, supporting students' communication development and educational success. The position is contract-based, running through the entire academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of student progress and therapy sessions Participate in meetings and provide recommendations for communication strategies and accommodations
Qualifications:
Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working within a school environment preferred Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
