Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students' communication and learning outcomes at a school setting near Winchester, VA. As a valued Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll provide crucial services from July 27th, 2026, through May 28th, 2027, offering dedicated care and expertise to help students thrive academically and socially.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active Virginia SLP license required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working in educational or pediatric settings strongly desired Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Assess students to identify speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for eligible students Deliver direct therapy services within the school environment Consult and collaborate with educators and caregivers regarding student progress Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and related documentation Offer guidance on augmentative or alternative communication as needed Contribute proactively to multi-disciplinary school teams Why consider this opportunity?
