Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take the next step in your speech-language pathology career by making a meaningful difference in a school setting near Woodford, VA. We are currently seeking three Speech-Language Pathologists for full-time contracted roles, with a 37.5-hour work week. You'll work with a diverse K-12 caseload, and there's flexibility to accommodate your expertise or preferences across age groups. Candidates with SLP-CCC credentials are highly encouraged to apply, and recent graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CF) will also be considered for these dynamic positions. You'll have the chance to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary educational team, supporting students' communication and language development so they can thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP license for Virginia Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows welcome for consideration Experience or passion for working with K-12 students in a school environment Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based interventions for speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in conjunction with educators and families Maintain accurate records and progress reports Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions This is a rewarding opportunity to help students discover their voice and unlock their potential.
